Delta Airlines announced frequency upgrades for their North Eastern routes to New York LaGuardia as well as JFK airports. This comes just 3 weeks after adding new daily flights to Boston Logan Airport. With the new frequencies, Delta will offer 5 daily flights to each of these two New York area airports, that are rapidly growing to pre-pandemic levels.
While American Airlines is still the airline to beat out of Charlotte, with approximately 660 daily departures this month and a 91% marketshare, Delta is the clear number 2 airline out of Charlotte. It will be interesting to see, how others will react to this development.
Delta currently serves the following destinations nonstop out of Charlotte:
Atlanta (ATL), Detroit (DTW), Minneapolis (MSP), Salt Lake City (SLC), New York LaGuardia (LGA), New York JFK (JFK), Boston Logan (BOS)
