Every now and then, Charlotte airport is visited by some Russian freighter planes. These old and rather impressive planes bring goods to the Charlotte region or pick them up from one of the many local manufacturers. Common customers are Siemens / Westinghouse, Daimler, BMW among many others.
Today was one of the day where we were blessed with one of the smaller super-freighters operated by Volga-Dnepr. The Ilyushin 76 aka “Candid” is an impressive bird, enjoy the attached pictures.
